Hi guys, mechanical novice so any help would be very much appreciated.

Can anyone recommend spacers that would be suitable for my car. I have a Hawk STI that now has these alloys....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1304087947...84.m1438.l2649

why did you not get the correct offset?
And if you have bought the exact wheels in the add, the ET42 will not require spacers.
if any thing at all, you might have to roll your rear arches a bit,

Thanks for reply, I have bought those exact alloys they arrive monday, however im after a really wide stance for the scoob. (love the euro look)

I know not to everyones taste but wondered how much i would have to play with once these were fitted.

I have 8" wide with a ET45 of set, I have 2mm of clearance to the rear arch from the tyre,
the wheels will fill the arches a lot more than the std wheels did.

all depends on how much you want to go euro style.
or you could just fit longer studs and fit some thinner spacers, but would not recommend hard driving with these

Wow, do you have some photos of your car just out of interest mate?

Here are some pics.
But mine is not euro look, its just low for track.
with the 1st option you would have to roll the arches and you have the rear arch extensions on yours, mine I do not with mine only been a WRX and not an Sti

If I was you I would put the wheels on the car and then measure the gaps.

you can buy slip on spacers 5mm to space them out a tad , any more you will need bolt on spacers or longer studs etc
