Cool Winter Tyres

Just had snow tyres fitted to the M3. Since they'll only be on the car for a short time I was reluctant to fork out for new tyres. Got part worns and immediately felt a lot less scary when braking on a patch of slushy/icy snow. A world of difference from the pilot sports that were on there.

Great prices from Hounslow Tyres made it silly not to stick them on. Found a set for the wife's car too so having those fitted on Sunday.

Another convert!

RWD's never been the problem in the winter, just the wrong tyres ;o)

Got them on my WRX, very impressed. I even made a point of driving from Hampshire to West Sussex to get some fun in last weekend at about 2am! Great fun, got 40 miles of smiles in before bed.

Must agree, first winter with them (michelin Alpins) and I'm converted.
Rather than being wary of snow/ice, I seem to be looking for it
