Hi guys, just looking for a bit of feedback on these tyres .
I see loads of people are using these and they seem to be getting pretty good feedback. I am interested to see the thoughts of people who have used a premium tyre such as Eagle F1s or Pilot Sports etc and then tried the Falkens. Are they really any good or do people just like them as they are cheap as chips![Ponder2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
I accept that in most cases you get what you pay for and they are going to be better than Ling Longs etc. but how do they really compare to premium brands ?
I am currently running Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas and prior to that have always used Eagle F1's but if the general opinion is that the Falkens are ok I might give them a go.
Thanks
Dan

I used Eagle F1s, then Toyo's followed by Falken 452 and they are right up there with the F1s in my opinion - but loads cheaper. No brainer for me ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Very disappointed with the Toyos, very impressed with the Falkens. Currently have P-Zeros on the car I have recently purchased but definitely going with 452s when needed.

I'm looking at tyres soon so waiting on peoples responses before buying. Its a cross between the Toyos T1r Sports or Falkens 453 or 912. Currently have the Toyos P1R and like some views are great in the dry but not so great in the wet in comparison to other brands.

Just got home after having the 452s fitted and I am pleasantly surprised . Went for a little run out and although its still very early days they felt very composed on a wet Cat and Fiddle road , so far I am pretty impressed .
Can't complain at the price either , £84 per tyre fully fitted for a 225 40 18 from All New Tyres in Macclesfield.

I used to use Pirreli Pzero all the time but when I bought my classic they had 4 brand new Falkens on it that had only done a few hundred miles. I was going to change them when I seen them on the car, I always classed Falken as a budget brand and never gave them a chance before, but without a word of a lie they are great tyres seem to wear well, plenty of grip in wet or dry, and no horrible tyre noise, so they tick all the boxes in my book.
I like them so much I am going to put some 18" ones on my new alloys I bought too once winter is out the way.
Great tyre at a great price..

Dannyboy, struggled with these is damp/not wet condition
- what you may call "greasy" before / after a downpour!!
Lots of understeer and slippage!! be warned!!
