Default A question about wheels

excuse my ignorance, I believe my wheel pcd stuff is 5x100 (its a 2009 wrx). So would any wheel advertised, even for something like a vw golf would fit no probs? Its just if i look for wheels that are 5x100 i get a lot more choice and i can save quite a few quid compared to searching for specific scoob wheels...

vw's offsets are around 35, depending how wide the wheel is, it may catch your arches

i think the 114's are sti not the wrx. i sold some wheels to a mate and he had a 01 or 02 wagon and they fit perfect so i think wrx have remained the same throughout the range, just sti being different

Hi

As mentioned above, the 2009 WRX models are 5x100 and the STis are 5x114.

If you are buying wheels for a VW the offset will normally be a bit lower than Subaru wheels (ET35 ish VW compared to ET45ish Subaru). This on a hatchback WRX should not pose much of a problem.
We have fitted a set of OZs today to the same car which are ET37 and they fit fine and fill the arches nicely.
What you will have to be careful with is the centre bore of the wheels, the VW hub size is 57.1 but the Subaru is 56.1 so if the wheels you buy are direct VW fit they will be 1mm too big for the Subaru hub. This would require a set of spiggot rings to sort.

Thanks

Keith

Think ahead, make sure they clear Brembos, for that inevitable upgrade to come...
