Tyre question - Toyos...

Currently have 4 x Toyo Proxes T1-Rs (225/40/18). My 2 front tyres are going pretty bald on the inside which tells me the tracking is out. However, i've been advised that the T1-Rs have been replaced by the Toyo Proxes Sports. Been quoted £260 fitted plus between £54 and £120 for 4 wheel laser alignment!
My question is this - Do I just replace the front 2 and have 2 different tyre treads? Replace all 4? opt for a different tyre brand altogether?!
It's on a Bugeye WRX. Thanks!

I have done, they all seem to be around the £250 mark fitted... but just don't know what combo to go for? The rears are in good nick still, so don't really want to fork out an additional £250 if I don't need to. I don't track the car, so would I even notice it with road use - fronts and rears having different treads I mean?

If you cant afford to replace all 4 then at least replace two front ones, ideally you need to rotate your tyres, as long as the wheels are matched per axle its not a big deal, get full geo check if you can as it will prevent further wear

Be careful when mixing different brand tyres on STi's with DCCD.
I had new Toyos on the front of my 05 STi, and older Bridgestones on the rear.
After a while I noticed there was an underlying vibration through the chassis, as if the diff was locked all the time. I'm not talking about any vibration to do with steering, wheel balance, or braking shudder.
Edited to add: the vibration became stronger with hard accelleration, but was hardly noticeable at normal driving speeds.
I took the car to Zen Performance, and after some investigation and a bit of hedad scratching, Paul eventually removed all the wheels and measured the circumference. The rear tyres were about 1mm bigger than the fronts, even though the rears were the worn tyres.
I changed the rear tyres and the vibration disapppeared.
I know you could get this situation with the same brand if you buy just two tyres to fit to either axles, with a worn pair being smaller than a new pair. I also know that it won't happen to every car of this type.
I'm just saying what happened to me.
