Godspeed or Aztec ?
Hi, I'm looking for an uprated set if discs and pads for my 4 pot equipped Subaru classic. Both companies do a set if performance discs (godspeed grooved, aztec drilled and grooved)with Kevlar pads, Godspeed about £25 more expensive to my door.
Which is best?
Only running approx 300 bhp and road use only.
Cheers for help.

Plain discs every time if you want performance. The grooves and spots remove disc surface area and you have less brake area swept volume. The pads cannot press on the spaces. If you were to squash all the spaces up to one area you'll be surprised to see how much area that is ....
Its only when you get into bigger brakes and serious brake heat that the grooves make any difference in heat dissipation. BUT those discs are made of proper metal that is designed to work at that heat level.
Until then stick with plain discs to get best performance. [ Rather than blingy looks ]
