Have got a set of Kevlar pads to take as spares.
Does any one know how much material is on a new set of pads?

Then your not utilising them properly if they are ok for you, however most folk fry them on one track day and are absolutely useless.
Not what they say on the tin anyway

I found both the Blue and Orangestuff brake pads really good, the orange is more dusty than the blue but nothing that can't be taken care of.

They worked brilliantly hot or cold and far better than the DS2500 brake pads which I find to be utter crap, they had a wooden feel and I wouldn't use them on a wheelbarrow.

No it's means the pads are suitable for them , as loads of other drivers , they are not suitable for all drivers , and that does not mean they are crap , there isn't a pad available to suit all drivers , so isn't it about time you changed the record ?

It also depends on the disc pad 'combo' as far as heat and wear are concerned.

Happy with mine on Brembos road and track

Blues are also working well on a friends hawk track car

So is this new negativity borne out of which trader can sell EBC pads then ? as I see Aztec criticising them this week, yet no so long ago they were the dogs danglies and on special offer lol

Haha
Depends who's selling them I suppose at the time and what deal they have bought them at but the 'real' tests prove otherwise but sellers will give you the sales pitch as usual!

They are ok for fast road use I suppose to a certain extent but that's about it IMO.
And the blue IMO are better, they don't disintegrate on 1 trackday like orange.
Advertised as track pad, my rear end lol

Lol you are a moron !

Of course I'm going to reply to a brake related thread , I specialise in brakes and I pay to be on here either advertising or giving out advise , don't flatter yourself in thinking I'm stalking you , I'm just correcting the poor advise your giving out , I have orangestuff fitted in my 600 hp GTR that gets driven very hard and I have no issues with them at all , they are very good , they are not the best pads I have ever tried but then the best pads I have used chew through discs and wreck the paintwork on wheels and bodywork.

Lets have a deal , you stop talking crap and I'll stop correcting you

At 7mm you are about half worn , what mileage have you done on them , you should see about the same again

The deal is I'm not talking crap! I'm giving my opinion and I'm know others that think the same.

You have orange in your gtr, just imagine the massive difference you'd gain by fitting proper pads.
You might as well fit smaller calipers to them with them pads.imo your NOT making good use of the gtr brakes you have.

And anyway you agreed that orange are a crap pad iirc and now your telling everyone you have them on gtr.

I chuckle at times when you reply, best to stay quiet tbh

Again.......

When have I said they are crap ? I haven't , it one of your other lies , I have said they are not the best pads out there for track use , it doesn't mean they are crap , if I did think they were crap they wouldn't be in my car , if they are in my car it means I have faith in them.

Ok I may have gave my 'crap' term as always lol
But on the line of 'I agree that they are not good on track even thought ebc list them as track pads on their site'
That maybe be more accurate.
That to me is crap! Sorry we both have different wordings, if it don't work then IMO it's 'crap' the end!

Now the more you winge and argue with me, you as a trader are showing yourself to be as, (what was the word you called me? Ah that's it) 'a moron' for even bothering with me. As I have nothing to loose or gain.......but you???

So calling me names is like sticks and stones, now I'm calling a pad crap so does that give you the right to call me names over the Internet. FFs who's the child here?

Anyway I'll leave you to redeem yourself and call it a day.

........however you'll find something to say I'm sure rather than be a grown up and ignore me

Yes EBC class them as a race pad , that they are not , I would never sell or advertise them as a race pad , anyone I advise I recommend them as a fast road , track pad , there is a big difference in fast road/ track and a race pad .

You saying the orangestuff don't work is incorrect , for the correct use they are a good pad , as many will testify to being correct , as I have said many times before , just because they don't suit you doesn't mean they don't work , that's just your opinion that you are trying to force onto others , but as the other users who have commented on this thread , and as I am finding in my own car they do work , and work very well

See again your missing the point, I have already said its 'my opinion' so wtf are you saying?
I haven't told anyone to not buy them have I? I just said they are crap which they are IMO.

So please again STOP FOLLOWING ME, STOP STALKING ME, AND GET A FRIGING LIFE!

It's Saturday FFs, or are you still at work?
It was only the other day I read that you don't frequent sn that much just to post the odd stuff and don't have time to reply to pm's, yet you have plenty of time to talk to me

You clearly have an issue with someone that's not scared to say what they think regardless of who.........

So obviously you wasn't the grown up then? Ok I'll be the grown up on this thread and let you waffle to yourself.

Until the next time you stalk me.

P.s are you going to appolagise for calling me a moron? As I don't think that was called for seen as I didn't call you any names to this date! All I did was mock a pad that I'm not keen on, so I think you are out of order in doing so.

No because you are a moron !

Are you saying that everyone who likes these pads are wrong and you are right , because that's what you keep saying , ok in your opinion they didn't suit you , but that doesn't mean they wont work for others , so stop trying to force feed people into thinking they don't work , as they do.

They stop my 600hp GTR very well

Lol at the main fanboy

Everybody is entitled to listen to anyone's opinion we all have different ones, it's that you can't cope with, especially coming from someone like me! Think Ian has a soft spot for me lol (loving the attention)

So not wanting to appolagise for calling me a moron for no reason whatsoever and I can tell your taking it personal from me and it's making you angry, then good! You deserve it then if that the pathetic man/child you are.

Once again ebc are CRAP folks, listen to me and don't buy them buy Kevlar instead they are the bees nees especially the comelines ones

insults , you are insulting the intelligence of other members on here who find the pads work very well for them , along with lies to back up your vast experience in the world of brakes by saying that most folk fry them on one track day , they don't , most have no issues , same as most pads out there , but some will have issues with them , again same as all other pads

Haha so you have read it all again I see, finding stuff to fry me about lol

My comments started as banter and jest as you see the Lol's ant the end, everyone does it.

Just you came in and didn't recognise that and started as usual lol

Again stick and stones.

Yes they do thanks, but I won't be advised by your advise thanks.

Shouldn't you be on the other forums drumming up business instead of wasting your time with me 'the trouble maker' loooool.
But instead sat here waiting for my replys......how sad!

P.s it's common knowledge that ebc are not that highly rated by quite a few people from nemourous forums as you will probably know so it's not just me ok.

I think you should get some kip as you seem groggy this morning. Ta ta
