Love to see a pic of your car with this setup KP, as I am aiming to go down a very similar road myself, but I didn't think 255 tyres would fit.

From that photo it looks like your running quite low mate, may have too raise the back a little as it looks like your running quite a bit of camber already.
Nice car by the way, got a bug myself

If only one side is rubbing, could you maybe take it in and get them too do it the same as the other side ? If that makes sense ?
As full full geo set up maybe look at the one Jura posted on my thread ? Seeing as your wheels are wider than mine.
Did you only raise the rear ?

Hi there

As above Jon recommend you will need raise ride height at rear and arch rolling will help too, camber setting depends on the car where is used and from this I would go,but if you are running such wide tyres as 255,then you will need to run more camber than on 225 tyres

As per this thread what posted Jon,there is few settings which can help you to decide what will be best

Cheers guys for the replies, Jon we only raised the rear about 25mm to alleviate scrubbing on both wheels but where we took the camber bolt out and not marking it the rear near side rubs on the coilover which is the opposite one that we took off,are we saying that the camber need to be as the one that does not rub now and not the one we didnt alter, sorry to be so vague but suspension setting aint my thing

Ain't really my thing either mate,it's just that I had similar problem myself.
If its rubbing on the untouched side I would say scrap what I said lol.
But imho I would of thought that with the tyres and the width of the wheels your running you would be best to raise a little more and look at the set up Jura suggested.
I'm running 18x8.75 wheels with 225 tyres and raising has stopped all rubbing.
As Jura has said camber will depend on what you use the car for and clearance reasons but the more camber the more tyre wear.

Cheers Jon ,the car is only used for road use,i will raise it up a bit more but will still need to sort out the camber setting.if i take it to a alignment company surely they will set it back to factory settings which with the wheels and tyres we are running would not be good ,am looking for someone local who would be able to set it up without any scrubbing ,any ideas cheers Kev

They will set it too what you ask if you take a copy of the settings you would like too go with.
But they will only have standard settings.
I do think yours tyres could be part of your problem, did they rub before you changed things

Jon
The tyres rubbed a bit before on the rear with passengers that is why we raised it up a bit,now with the camber altered only one rubs(no passengers and only on left hand bends) if i knew what the camber should be i would get it set up but dont know now if the existing camber (which is the one that rubs ,not altered) or the off side wheel camber which we altered but dont know the settings (no scrubbing) is the correct one.Sorry to be so confusing doing me head in
